Housed within the Print Media Department of the Florence School of Fine Arts, the Center for Contemporary Graphic Arts is a space for innovation, research, and practice in printmaking. The Center supports artists, students, and visiting practitioners as they explore both the heritage and future of graphic arts through hands-on engagement with traditional and contemporary print processes.
Our studio is fully equipped for intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, letterpress, bookarts, relief, and risography, offering a dynamic environment where time-honored craft meets experimental expression. Through workshops, collaborations, exhibitions, and open studio initiatives, the Center fosters a vibrant community committed to advancing the language of print.
Whether preserving historic techniques or pushing the boundaries of contemporary print media, the Center for Contemporary Graphic Arts serves as a creative and educational anchor in Florence's rich artistic landscape.
