While a rolling admission procedure applies to all applicants, the Florence School encourages all students to apply by the priority deadlines. Late applicants may find primary class choices are full and housing cannot be guaranteed.

What Happens Next

After You're Accepted

Once enrolled, you'll receive your Enrollment Packet containing:

  • Official enrollment letter (needed for your student visa if you're studying for a full academic year)
  • Enrollment policies and program information
  • All pertinent details via email for summer students

Passport & Visa Requirements

If you're from outside the EU and staying over 3 months:

  • Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months after your program ends
  • Student Visa: Required for stays longer than 90 days (except EU citizens)
  • Timeline: Schedule your visa appointment 60-90 days before your program starts
  • Processing: Allow minimum 4 weeks for visa processing

Where to Apply:

  • U.S. Students: Visit the Italian Consular Network for your region
  • Non-U.S. Students: Contact the Italian Consulate in your home country (visa required for all terms, regardless of duration)
